By using Genexi, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
Genexi is a property management application developed and operated by Genexi. Genexi enables users to manage property assets, maintenance tasks, household expenses, contractor contacts, and generate insurance documentation for properties they own or manage.

We use the information we collect to:
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties for marketing or advertising purposes. We do not use your property or financial data for any purpose other than providing the Service to you.
With Household Members: When you invite someone to access a property via an invite code, that person will be able to see the property data, assets, tasks, and expense records you have permitted based on their assigned role (Viewer, Editor, or Admin). You control who you invite and what role they receive.
With Service Providers: We use trusted third-party providers to operate our infrastructure, including cloud hosting (Supabase), push notification delivery (Apple Push Notification Service / Firebase Cloud Messaging), and analytics services. These providers process data only on our behalf under data processing agreements and are prohibited from using your data for their own purposes.
With Apple and Google: Subscription management and billing is handled by Apple (App Store) and Google (Google Play) under their respective privacy policies. We receive transaction confirmations but do not receive or store full payment details.
For Legal Compliance: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, court order, or government authority, or if we believe in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, your personal data may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via in-app notice or email before your data is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
Your data is stored using Supabase's managed PostgreSQL infrastructure, hosted on servers in secure data centres. We implement the following security measures:
While we implement strong security measures, no method of transmission or storage over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but are committed to using commercially reasonable means to protect your data.
Genexi may send you push notifications for events such as: maintenance task due dates, new alerts on assets, household member activity, and subscription reminders. You can control which notification types you receive in the app's Settings → Notifications screen. You may also disable all push notifications via your device's system settings at any time.
Push notifications are delivered via Apple Push Notification Service (APNs) or Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM). We store your device push token to deliver notifications. This token is associated with your account and not shared with third parties for any other purpose.
The property addresses, asset descriptions, photos, expense records, and contractor contact information you enter into Genexi belong to you. This data is:
Contractor Contact Data: Names, phone numbers, and emails of contractors you save are stored in your private contacts book within Genexi. This data is used only to populate your contacts list within the app. It is not used for any marketing, outreach, or shared with any third party.
Location Data: Genexi uses your device's GPS location when you browse the Contacts tab to surface nearby service professionals. This location is used in the moment only and is not stored persistently on our servers. Any property address you enter is stored as text data you have voluntarily provided.
Service Professional Profiles: If you register as a service professional on Genexi, any information you choose to include on your profile — such as your business name, specialty, location, and contact details — will be visible to other Genexi users browsing the Contacts discovery screen. You have full control over what you share and can update or remove your profile information at any time from within the app.
Digital Property Brochure: When you generate a Digital Property Brochure and enable the Public Listing option, the following information becomes publicly accessible on the internet via genexi.com and searchable in the Genexi Listings directory: the property name, address, city, country, listing category, asking price or monthly rent, property cover photo, selected room photos, room details, asset descriptions, your display name, your phone number, and the names and phone numbers of any additional contacts you have chosen to include on the brochure. You are solely responsible for ensuring that any third-party personal information you include on a public brochure — such as a co-agent's or co-owner's name and phone number — has been provided with that person's knowledge and consent. If you do not enable the Public Listing option, your brochure remains accessible only via a direct link and is not indexed in the Genexi Listings directory.
When you invite another person to your property using an invite code, that person gains access to the property data according to the role you assign them:
You can revoke household member access at any time from the Property Settings screen. When access is revoked, the member will immediately lose the ability to view or edit the property data. Their own account data (their separate properties and profile) is unaffected.
Household members can see your display name and profile photo. They cannot see your email address, billing information, or other properties you own unless you explicitly share those properties with them.
Genexi subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple or Google under their respective privacy policies and terms. Genexi receives notification of subscription status (active, cancelled, expired) but does not receive or store full credit card numbers, bank details, or other payment instrument data.
Subscription management, cancellations, and refund requests should be directed to Apple or Google depending on where you purchased your subscription. You can manage your subscription via: Settings → Apple ID / Google Play → Subscriptions on your device.
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
European Economic Area and United Kingdom (GDPR):
California (CCPA / CPRA):
Canada (PIPEDA):
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@genexi.com. We will respond to verified requests within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity before processing certain requests.
You may also delete your account and all associated data directly within the Genexi app via: Profile → Settings → Account → Delete Account. This action is permanent and irreversible.
Genexi is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in the European Economic Area). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that a child under the applicable age has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@genexi.com and we will take steps to delete that information.

When we transfer data from the European Economic Area to countries not deemed to provide adequate protection by the European Commission, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.
